PalmGear kapandı

Yıllardır Palm OS programlarının “download.com”u olan PalmGear kapandı. PalmGear, Pocket PC programları için açılmış olan kardeş sitesi PocketGear ile birleştirildi.

PalmInfoCenter’ın verdiği bilgiye göre PalmGear’daki programlar PocketGear’a transfer edilirken ücretsiz yazılımlar es geçilmiş. Başka bir kaynaktan bulunması mümkün olmayan belirsiz sayıda ücretsiz yazılımın kayıp olduğu söyleniyor.

Palm platformu için kötü haber. PocketGear’ın tasarımı da hoşuma gitmiyor doğrusu. PocketGear’a alternatif sitelerden biri Handango, bir diğeri de sadece ücretsiz yazılımları listeleyen FreewarePalm.
